Most people arrive with the week still in their shoulders. By the second round they drop. By the third, nobody is checking the time.

The whole bathhouse for up to 12 people, two hours and a host. Birthdays, teams, hen days.
Three regulars, in their own words. Most of them came for one session and booked the next before they left.
“Tuesday at 7am, before a ward shift. It’s the only hour of my week where the phone stays in a locker.”
“I was scared of cold water. The host walked in with me to the knees and talked me through it. Now I dip in January.”
“We hired it for my fortieth. Twelve of us, two hours, three rounds, and not one person looked at a phone.”

“Nobody has to be brave here. Walk in to your knees, breathe out slowly, come back up laughing.”

No. Plenty of people use the plunge tubs or a cold shower, and some just sit out on the deck. Go as far as feels good that day.
Swimwear, water shoes for the pebbles and a warm layer for afterwards. Towels, robes, lockers and tea are included.
Hosts check the sea before every session. If it isn’t safe, we switch to the plunge tubs, held at 6°C, and the session runs as normal.
If you’re pregnant or have a heart condition or high blood pressure, check with your GP first and tell your host when you arrive.
