Email the team
How much does it cost to adopt?

$175 for dogs, $95 for cats, $50 over age eight. It covers spay or neuter, microchip, vaccines and a first vet visit.

Can I foster if I rent?

Yes. We send your landlord a short letter explaining the placement, and we match renters with cats or small dogs when the lease asks for it.

Where does vet care money go?

Straight to the clinic: surgery, dental work, medicine and lab tests. We publish the year's vet spending, animal by animal, every January.

Do you take animals from owners?

When a foster home is free, yes. Call us first and we'll also share low-cost vet and pet food help that might let you keep them.

Can I meet an animal before applying?

Come to the Sellwood adoption house any Saturday from 11 to 4, or book a weekday visit at their foster home.
